Yule Film Fest is a holiday-inspired short film festival that takes place in Downtown Hartford, CT and online every December. Yule Film Fest was created as an outlet for filmmakers and film fanatics to experience each others' work while also being judged for awarding. After inspiration from Hey Arnold's Christmas (TV. episode), A Christmas Story, and Harvie Krumpit, Hartford Film Club LLC worked to bring Yule Film Fest to life in 2020. It opened for submissions in October 2020 and successfully launched a virtual premiere that December (2020). Yule Film Fest prides itself on representation during the holiday season that aspires to bring laughter, tears, and the silent cringe of independent cinema to the audience. It aims to recognize independent filmmakers on an intimate scale, having connected with multiple filmmakers, writers, and actors in their industry journeys.
Yule Film Fest will be weird, unique, and beautiful.
